Surbana Jurong opens new global headquarters in Jurong Innovation District

Sean Chiao, Group CEO of Surbana Jurong, claims that the campus serves as a living lab for introducing solutions and pushing the boundaries of sustainable development. “In Surbana Jurong Campus, our diverse skills team up to address our customers’ most complicated concerns, fulfilling our function, Genuine effect, made all together.”

The campus was designed by Surbana Jurong’s architects in collaboration with Safdie Architects to reflect the principle of a “campus in nature.” Previously an undeveloped greenfield place, the campus has been made to maintain over half of its remaining green spot. Built-up environment-friendly areas were replaced with roof yards, lush indoor gardens, and comprehensive exterior landscape design.

The project has been rewarded the Building and Construction Authority’s (BCA) Environment-friendly Mark Platinum Super Low Energy and BCA-Health Promotion Board Green Mark Platinum for Healthier Workplaces for its campaigns in sustainability and advertising healthier lifestyles. This includes offering end-of-trip centers, like onsite bike racks and showers.

The campus extends 1.2 million sq ft in built-up space and can fit 4,000 workers and the broader group throughout 10 towers. The campus is assumed to home staff members from a wide range of individuals in Singapore under one threshold.

The 10 towers are interconnected by a pedestrian pathway and closed yards, making it possible for natural sunlight and fresh air to flow thru. The development features facilities like a 1,000-seater multi-purpose place, a junior ballroom, rooftop terraces, a group reception, table tennis, and a coming health club center.

Surbana Jurong introduced its new international headquarters, the Surbana Jurong Campus, in CleanTech Park in just the Jurong Innovation District. The center was officially opened on March 13, with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong in appearance.
